Indonesian Student Wins Silver Award at Science Competition in Singapore

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – A student from South Jakarta has achieved a remarkable feat at an international science competition. In a written press release by Ministry of Religious Affairs on Sunday, March 29, 2026, a student at MTsN 32 Jakarta, Zahra Aaliyah Belva Melano won a Silver Award in Singapore.
The competition, titled the STEMCO Global Round 2026, took place on March 28–29, 2026. The event brought together the best young talents from various countries around the world.
The competition involved participants from strong nations such as Vietnam and Kazakhstan. The participants competed fiercely in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
This victory proves that Indonesian students are capable of mastering critical thinking skills. The impact of this achievement is immense for the self-confidence of other madrasah students. Zahra’s accomplishment demonstrates that religious schools are now excelling in global technological mastery.
