Now, entering its 20th year, FHI is a strategic event that brings together players in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries to strengthen collaboration and open up business opportunities in national and global markets.

The Minister of Creative Economy emphasized that the culinary subsector is one of the main drivers of Indonesia's creative economy. In addition to contributing significantly to job creation, this subsector also plays a crucial role in strengthening the economic value chain and promoting cultural identity through the rich flavors of the archipelago.

He considered the culinary subsector to be one of the main pillars of Indonesia's creative economy, making a significant contribution to job creation, strengthening the economic value chain, and promoting the nation's cultural identity. "Food & Hospitality Indonesia 2026 is a crucial momentum to strengthen collaboration and open up broader opportunities for Indonesian creative economy players," the Minister of Creative Economy said.

At the 2026 FHI, which took place from July 21st to 24th, 2026, the Ministry of Creative Economy presented the EKRAF Pavilion, showcasing four culinary brands fostered by the Indonesian Creative Export Acceleration Program (ASIK): El's Coffee, Novio Fresh, Pempek Cek Molek, and Rasakoe. These four brands were curated based on their product readiness to meet the needs of the hotel, restaurant, and catering (HoReCa) industry.

The ASIK program is a strategic initiative of the Ministry of Creative Economy that provides comprehensive assistance to creative economy actors, from increasing business capacity, product standardization and certification, to strengthening competitiveness to enable them to penetrate export markets. "This is where innovation meets the market, and creativity is translated into real economic value," the Minister of Creative Economy said.

Through this program, the Ministry of Creative Economy is committed to strengthening the culinary subsector ecosystem by encouraging talent development, improving product quality, and expanding access to international markets. "Through this momentum, let's make Food & Hospitality Indonesia 2026 a very strategic role in realizing these goals," Riefky said.

FHI 2026 was attended by participants from 32 countries and integrated with exhibitions in the hospitality, design, and packaging sectors. Through this participation, the Ministry of Creative Economy facilitated the promotion of four ASIK-sponsored brands to industry players, potential buyers, and international business partners.
