RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Rupiah rebounded after trading near nineteen thousand per US Dollar. It closed slightly stronger at 18,960 alongside other Asian currencies.

The US Dollar index held steady at 101.33. Meanwhile, the ten-year US Treasury yield remained above 5.2 percent.

Today's US Dollar weakness stems from technical pressure and potential market intervention. Brent crude oil prices also dropped to around 104 dollars per barrel.

This lower oil price did not affect US financial indicators during Asian trading hours. The Jakarta Composite Index also showed strong market resilience today.

The index bounced back and pared its losses from 6,013. Although it closed down 0.43 percent at 6,121, it showed great resilience.

Separately, gold prices rose to 4,151 dollars per troy ounce. The declining oil prices triggered this gold price increase.

Market observers continue monitoring these financial movements closely. Investors await further economic developments this week.
