Bogor Regency Administration Sees Strong Investment Growth in First Half

RRI.CO.ID, Bogor - Bogor Regency recorded Rp13.72 trillion in investment during the first half. The investment created 25,502 jobs across the regency.

The achievement ranked Bogor third in West Java's investment realization. It also ranked second for employment absorption across the province.

In a written statement on Sunday, August 30, 2026, Bogor Regent, Rudy Susmanto, said investment figures represented business confidence. He affirmed maintaining that confidence through better services and infrastructure.

“Investment entering Bogor should not stop at investment value alone,” he said. The Regent wants the investment to create jobs and benefit the community.”

The investment realization reached Rp6.59 trillion during the second quarter. The figure came from 3,070 companies implementing 8,872 projects.

While, domestic investment contributed Rp4.75 trillion during the second quarter. Then, foreign investment reached Rp1.84 trillion, absorbing 12,509 workers.

The housing and industrial estates sector recorded the largest investment. It also reached Rp2.76 trillion during the second quarter of 2026.

In addition, other major sectors included services, transportation, food manufacturing, and trade. Chemical and pharmaceutical industries employed the most workers, with 1,904 people.

Rudy further conveyed the government would continuously create a conducive investment climate. He affirmed that better services and simpler licensing remain important priorities.
