Indonesia Raises IDR 34 Trillion in Government Bond Auction

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian government raised IDR 34 trillion (approximately USD 1.9 billion) from the auction of nine Government Bond (SUN) series on August 18, 2026, according to the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) at the Ministry of Finance.

Total investor bids reached IDR 84.76 trillion. Although three Treasury Bill (SPN) series attracted bids, none were awarded. Bids amounted to IDR 670 billion for SPN01260919, IDR 2.43 trillion for SPN03261118, and IDR 8.63 trillion for SPN12270805.

“In line with the authority granted under Law No. 24/2002 on Government Bonds, the Minister of Finance has set the total awarded amount for the nine series at IDR 34 trillion,” the DJPPR said in a written statement in Jakarta on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, as reported by Antara.

The largest allocation came from the reissued FR0110 series, which received IDR 37.65 trillion in bids and secured IDR 12.8 trillion at a weighted average yield of 7.00788 percent. The series matures on May 15, 2032.

The government awarded IDR 10.3 trillion from the FR0108 series, out of total bids of IDR 16.19 trillion, at a weighted average yield of 7.10992 percent. The series matures on April 15, 2036.

From the FR0106 series, the government absorbed IDR 4.75 trillion from IDR 7.87 trillion in bids, with a weighted average yield of 7.24000 percent and a maturity date of August 15, 2040.

The FR0107 series secured IDR 4.85 trillion from total bids of IDR 6.99 trillion, with a weighted average yield of 7.24998 percent and a maturity date of August 15, 2045.

The government awarded IDR 850 billion from the FR0102 series, which received IDR 2.4 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield stood at 7.29987 percent, with maturity on July 15, 2054.

The smallest allocation came from the FR0105 series, which secured IDR 450 billion from IDR 1.93 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield reached 7.29746 percent, and the series matures on July 15, 2064.

All six awarded FR series carry long tenors, ranging from 2032 to 2064. ***
