RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) reported that corporate fundraising in the domestic capital market remained steady through the end of July 2026. The total amount raised reached IDR 113.13 trillion (USD 6.27 billion) amid global economic dynamics.
“The domestic capital market continues to play a vital role as a source of long-term financing for the business sector,” said OJK Board of Commissioners Chair Friderica Widyasari Dewi in Jakarta on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
She added that the majority of the funds raised came from the issuance of Debt Securities and Islamic Bonds (EBUS). According to her, as of July 31, the value of these issuances reached IDR 98.27 trillion.
Friderica noted that the capital market experienced a period of consolidation throughout the second quarter of 2026 (Q2 2026). However, the market began to show signs of recovery in early Q3 2026.
“Entering July, the index showed signs of recovery. As of July 31, 2026, the Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) closed at 6,236.13, up 10.51 percent month-to-date (mtd),” said Friderica.
In addition, she noted that the investment management industry also maintained its positive performance. The net asset value (NAV) of mutual funds stood at IDR 652.90 trillion at the end of Q2 2026.
“As of July, trends are still positive. Mutual fund NAV reached IDR 663.26 trillion as of July 30, representing a 1.59 percent quarter-on-quarter (qoq) increase,” said Friderica.
She added that the OJK, together with self-regulatory organizations (SROs), continues to advance capital market integrity reforms. These efforts are being carried out through institutional strengthening, market deepening, and the refinement of various regulations.
The OJK has also published the Roadmap for the Development of Derivatives Markets Based on Capital Market Instruments 2026–2030 and the Roadmap for Indonesia’s Sustainable Capital Market 2026–2030. These two documents are expected to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia's capital market while supporting sustainable economic development. (Gusti Panji-EN)
