2026 Jakarta Kreatif Festival Records Transactions More Than US$3 Million

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The Jakarta Creative Festival (JKF) 2026 series at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, officially closed on Sunday, July 5, 2026. The annual event recorded transactions totaling Rp55 billion, or more than US$3 million.

The Jakarta Provincial Government in its written press release stated that the 2026 JKF involved 377 exhibitors, consisting of 290 MSME exhibitors and 87 exhibitors offering services, education, and community programs, in collaboration with 67 organizations and agencies. Over the two-day event, the JKF was visited by approximately 15,000 people.

Various competitions also drew high enthusiasm, with 1,940 participants participating in events such as the Jakarta Youth Film Festival, Band Competition, Swara Bankers, JKF Fun Padel Competition, Processed Food Festival, Sharia Economics Da’wah Competition, and Urban Farming Festival.

From an economic perspective, the total transactions throughout the JKF 2026 series reached Rp55 billion, including business matching transactions for financing and SME exports. Additionally, through the Indonesian Intermediation Acceleration Program (PINISI), banking financing commitments to corporations totaling Rp575 billion were secured.

Jakarta’s Regional Secretary, Uus Kuswanto, affirmed that JKF 2026 highlights the importance of creativity and collaboration as the foundation of Jakarta’s economic development. Strengthening the creative economy and advancing digitalization are seen as key assets for Jakarta’s transformation into a global city.

“JKF proves that creativity, innovation, and collaboration are the key assets for building a more advanced and sustainable Jakarta. The #JagaJakarta spirit also reminds us that urban development is not just the government’s responsibility, but a collective effort by the entire community,” he said.

The Head of Bank Indonesia’s Jakarta Representative Office, Iwan Setiawan, also shared his views on the sustainability of this program. He hopes this momentum will continue to drive the creative economy sector and expand access to export markets.

“It is hoped that the momentum of JKF will continue to drive MSMEs, the creative economy, and digitalization in Jakarta. Moreover, this spirit of collaboration is a vital asset as we look ahead to Jakarta’s fifth century, aiming to realize a competitive and sustainable global city,” he said.

The event also resulted in a new commitment to cooperation between the banking sector and the modern film industry. This outcome underscores that the creative and music industries are strategic sectors driving Jakarta’s economic growth.
