Govt Revenue from Sharia Bond Auction Reaches IDR 8.85 Trillion

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian government has once again raised funds from the Islamic financial market. Through an auction of Government Sharia Securities (SBSN) held on June 2, 2026, the government secured IDR 8.85 trillion (USD 492.85 million) in financing.
The Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) at the Ministry of Finance reported that total bids for the eight Islamic bond series reached IDR 26.05 trillion, underscoring investors’ continued strong interest in the government’s Islamic financing instruments.
The largest absorption came from the newly issued SPNS01032027 series, which raised IDR 4 trillion from total bids of IDR 5.34 trillion. It recorded a weighted average yield of 6.68000 percent and matures on March 1, 2027.
The SPNS23112026 series contributed IDR 2.55 trillion from bids of IDR 2.71 trillion. This reopened series offered a weighted average yield of 6.40000 percent and matures on November 23, 2026.
Meanwhile, the SPNS13072026 series was awarded IDR 1 trillion from total bids of IDR 2.1 trillion, with a weighted average yield of 6.20000 percent and maturity on July 13, 2026.
For longer tenors, the PBS034 series absorbed IDR 500 billion from bids of IDR 2.57 trillion. It yielded 6.84870 percent and matures on June 15, 2039.
The PBS030 series raised IDR 300 billion from bids of IDR 5.15 trillion, yielding 6.68857 percent and maturing on July 15, 2028. The PBS040 and PBS038 series each secured IDR 200 billion.
PBS040 attracted bids of IDR 2.29 trillion, yielding 6.69714 percent and maturing on November 15, 2030. PBS038 recorded bids of IDR 3.41 trillion, yielding 6.90830 percent and maturing on December 15, 2049.
The final series, PBS005, absorbed IDR 100 billion from bids totaling IDR 2.48 trillion. It recorded a weighted average yield of 6.79546 percent and matures on April 15, 2043. ***
