Indonesia Raises IDR 42 Trillion in Bond Auction, Investor Confidence Up

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta –Investor interest in Indonesian Government Securities (SBN) has strengthened once again, with the government capitalizing on this momentum to boost budget financing through its latest auction.
On April 14, 2026, the government successfully raised IDR 42 trillion (US$2.44 billion) from the auction of nine Government Bonds (SUN) series.
According to the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) at the Ministry of Finance, total bids reached IDR 78.44 trillion, higher than the IDR 58.22 trillion recorded in the previous auction on March 31, as reported by Antara.
The FR0109 series (reopening) contributed the largest share, absorbing IDR 23.55 trillion from IDR 44.44 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield was 6.27225 percent, with maturity on March 15, 2031.
The FR0108 series (reopening) followed, securing IDR 5.2 trillion from IDR 10.66 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield was 6.60998 percent, maturing on April 15, 2036.
The SPN12270401 series (reopening) absorbed IDR 4.7 trillion from IDR 5.21 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield was 5.50000 percent, with maturity on April 1, 2027.
For the FR0106 series (reopening), the government secured IDR 2.5 trillion from IDR 4.65 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield was 6.72964 percent, maturing on August 15, 2040.
The FR0107 series (reopening) absorbed IDR 1.75 trillion from IDR 3.56 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield was 6.71886 percent, maturing on August 15, 2045.
The FR0102 series (reopening) raised IDR 1.3 trillion from IDR 1.87 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield was 6.84754 percent, maturing on July 15, 2054.
For the newly issued SPN03260715 series, the government secured IDR 1.2 trillion from IDR 3.58 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield was 5.40000 percent, maturing on July 15, 2026.
The newly issued SPN01260516 series absorbed IDR 1 trillion from IDR 3.26 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield was 4.88000 percent, maturing on May 16, 2026.
Finally, the FR0105 series (reopening) raised IDR 800 billion from IDR 1.22 trillion in bids. The weighted average yield was 6.84876 percent, maturing on July 15, 2064.
These results highlight strong investor confidence in government bonds. The financing strategy through SUN is considered effective in meeting state budget needs amid global financial market dynamics. ***
