Prabowo Discusses State Asset Optimization with International Finance Expert

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto received international financial expert Ray Dalio at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Friday, March 27, 2026. The meeting discussed major steps to strengthen Indonesia’s economy through the role of Danantara.
The President wants to ensure that state assets are managed properly so that they have a direct impact on the public. Cooperation with global advisors is expected to open up broader opportunities for new jobs.
“This afternoon, President Prabowo Subianto received Ray Dalio as one of Danantara’s advisors and a key figure in the international financial world,” Cabinet Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya, stated in a written statement.
This visit demonstrates the world’s confidence in the increasingly stable domestic economic conditions. The government is focused on strengthening citizens’ purchasing power through strategic investments in various productive sectors.
On this occasion, President Prabowo also highlighted the importance of strengthening Danantara’s role as a driving force for national economic growth. This aims to ensure that investment funds flow into regional development projects.
“The meeting discussed Indonesia’s economic outlook, as well as the optimization and strengthening of Danantara’s role as a driver of Indonesia’s economic growth,” the Cabinet Secretary said.
The government is optimistic that modern asset management will reduce dependence on foreign debt. The public is expected to soon feel the benefits of more transparent and professional investment management.
“Danantara, as Indonesia’s strategic investment management agency established by President Prabowo Subianto in February 2025 to optimize state assets, manage strategic state-owned enterprises, and act as a Sovereign Wealth Fund, continues to collaborate with strategic partners to enhance Danantara’s credibility and standing on the international stage,” he said.
