RRI.CO.ID, Tangerang - Minister of Trade, Budi Santoso, officially launched the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia at ICE BSD, Tangerang, on Thursday, 26 February 2026. This international trade exhibition is scheduled to take place from October 14 to 18, 2026.
The national export performance currently shows a positive trend despite facing challenging global conditions. Indonesia's trade surplus has recorded a significant increase and has consistently maintained its position for dozens of consecutive months.
“Amidst global trade challenges, Indonesia's exports continue to grow positively, with the trade surplus increasing by 31 percent and persisting for 68 consecutive months,” Budi Santoso conveyed.
This year’s exhibition will consist of three main stages, beginning with business matching facilities for business actors. The government is committed to monitoring the realization of trade contracts post-event to ensure that transactions proceed smoothly.
“In the current international trade situation, the government ensures that exports continue to grow through various concrete steps, including Trade Expo Indonesia,” he stated.
The Ministry of Trade continues to implement priority programs such as securing the domestic market and expanding export market access abroad. These efforts are strengthened by finalizing various international trade agreements to open opportunities for local products to enter the global market.
The government also encourages the participation of SMEs and students to transform into competitive new exporters. Collaboration among all stakeholders is expected to strengthen Indonesia's position as a strategic trading partner on the international stage.
