Indonesian Community Enlivens the 2025 Fukuoka Hakata Dontaku Festival

KBRN, Tokyo: Several Indonesian communities in Japan participated in the Hakata Dontaku Festival in Fukuoka, Japan, on May 3-4, 2025. In the Festival, the Indonesian community represented by the Indonesian Student Association (PPI) Fukuoka, the non-profit organization (NPO) Teman Hati, and the Indonesian worker community in Fukuoka showcased the richness of Indonesian arts and culture, such as the Aceh Saman dance, the Makassar Padupa dance, and the performance of an Angklung group in collaboration with the Japanese and Indonesian communities in Fukuoka.
