Australian and Indonesian Teachers Strengthen Ties

KBRN, Jakarta : Fourteen Australian teachers visited Indonesia from 5-28 April for a cultural and educational immersion program as part of the Australia-Indonesia BRIDGE School Partnership Program.
The Australian teachers joined 13 teachers from across Indonesia in the program to encourage cross-cultural exchange, promote global teaching methods and strengthen long-term educational partnerships between Australian and Indonesian schools.
In 2024, Ten Indonesian schools officially joined the Australia-Indonesia BRIDGE School Partnership Program during the Record of Understanding hybrid ceremony in Jakarta, marking a key moment in the educational collaboration between the two nations. The BRIDGE program, which stands for Building Relationships through Intercultural Dialogue and Growing Engagement, has been connecting schools in Indonesia and Australia for 16 years.
