Indonesia and UN Tourism Launch Indonesia Investment Guidelines

KBRN, Jakarta: On the second day of the 37th Joint Commission Meeting for the UN Tourism Commission for East Asia and the Pacific (CAP) and the UN Tourism Commission for South Asia (CSA), Wednesday (16/04/2025) Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana launched an investment guideline prepared by UN Tourism entitled "Tourism Doing Business: Investing in Indonesia". This guideline will be a roadmap to help investors navigate and unlock the enormous potential of Indonesia's rapidly growing tourism sector.
Secretary General of UN Tourism, Zurab Pololikashvili, said the investment guideline "Tourism Doing Business: Investing in Indonesia" is the first investment guideline in Asia and the Pacific. This guideline is an important step for UN Tourism and also Indonesia, because investment is one of the priorities in tourism development.
