Minister of Tourism Officially Opens “The 37th UN Tourism Joint Commission for CAP-CSA” Meeting

KBRN, Jakarta: Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana officially opened the 37th Joint Commission Meeting of the UN Tourism Commission for East Asia and the Pacific (CAP) and the UN Tourism Commission for South Asia (CSA) in Jakarta, Tuesday (15/4/2025) Widiyanti said Indonesia was honored to host one of the important meetings for the tourism sector in the Asia-Pacific Region.
The delegates who attended, will be involved in the 37th Joint Meeting of the UN Tourism Commission for East Asia and the Pacific & the UN Tourism Commission for South Asia (37th CAP-CSA); the 56th Meeting of the UN Tourism Commission for East Asia & the Pacific (56th CAP); the 60th Meeting of the UN Tourism Commission for South Asia (60th CSA); as well as the Networking Dinner on the first day (15/4).
Then, there is the UN Tourism Regional Conference scheduled on the second day (16/4/2025), with the main focus of discussion on tourism policy in the circular economy. The forum, facilitated by UN tourism experts, will provide valuable insights into global and regional trends in tourism investment.
