2025 Francophonie Week in Indonesia Opens in Jakarta

KBRN, Jakarta: Francophonie Week 2025 was launched by OIF member countries in Indonesia, Monday (18/3/2025) at the Institut Français Indonésie (IFI) in Jakarta. This year’s theme, “Prenez la parole!” (Speak up!), celebrates the French language and its global influence.
The event, running from March 18 to 22, includes film screenings, seminars, live cooking demonstrations, roadshows, and competitions. Francophonie Week aims to foster cultural exchange and engage the public in appreciating the French-speaking world. Through this event, Indonesia strengthens its ties with French-speaking countries, promoting greater cultural understanding.
