KBRN, Jakarta: Minister of Culture Fadli Zon emphasized the importance of strengthening Indonesia’s cultural identity and global recognition During a briefing session and fast-breaking event in Jakarta on March 12, 2025. He highlighted the ministry’s transition into an independent institution with three directorates focusing on heritage protection, cultural diplomacy, and development. Indonesia, with its rich diversity of 1,340 ethnic groups and 718 languages, continues efforts to preserve heritage through museums, UNESCO recognition, and public-private partnerships. The government aims to enhance cultural promotion, improve museum standards, and leverage creative industries to boost Indonesia’s global presence.
