Refuse-Derived Fuel Waste Processing in Jakarta

KBRN, Jakarta: Waste processing activities were seen at the Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) Plant in Rorotan, Jakarta on Tuesday (2/25/2025). As reported by Antara, the Rorotan RDF Plant, built at Rp1.28 trillion (about US$72.8 million), is projected to be able to process 2,500 tons of waste per day into alternative fuels. It is expected to reduce the burden on the Bantar Gebang Integrated Waste Disposal Site in Bekasi, West Java, the largest in Greater Jakarta.
