KBRN, Tigaraksa: Locals held the Ramadan tarhib (read: tar-kheeb) parade at Taman Buah II housing in Kutabumi, Tangerang Regency, Banten on Sunday (23/2/2025). As reported by Antara, it was an expression of joy in welcoming the Islamic holy month of Ramadan 1446 Hijri, while inviting Muslims to increase their acts of worship. The word "tarhib" in Arabic roughly means "to welcome".
