Prabowo Inaugurates 1072 SPPG to Foster National Food Security

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated 1,072 Nutritional Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) and 18 Food Resilience Warehouses, as well as the groundbreaking of 107 Polri SPPGs across Indonesia. The event was held at the Polri (Indonesian Police) SPPG Palmerah, Jakarta, on Friday, 13 February 2026.

President Prabowo's presence was welcomed by several ministers of the Merah Putih Cabinet, the head of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia, and invitees from various regions who attended the inauguration and groundbreaking in a hybrid format. The agenda began with a report from the Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, who presented the progress and commitment of the police in supporting the government's strategic programs.

In his report, the Chief of Police, Listyo Sigit Prabowo, affirmed the commitment of the National Police to actively participate in supporting the national nutrition fulfilment program and strengthening food security as part of the government's strategic agenda. He explained that the strengthening of the Police Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) along with food security infrastructure support is designed to provide real benefits to the community.

"Through the strengthening of the Polri SPPG and support for food resilience infrastructure, Polri is committed to providing safe, quality, and equitable nutritional services, while also strengthening the food ecosystem from upstream to downstream, thereby truly making a tangible impact on the growth and development of the golden generation of the nation's successors," Sigit stated.

On that occasion, President Prabowo also presented awards to several representatives of recipients of state honours, namely the Bintang Jasa Utama, Bintang Jasa Pratama, Bintang Jasa Nararya, and Satya Lencana Wira Karya. The awarding of these honours is a form of appreciation for the dedication and contribution in supporting the government's priority programs.

In his speech, President Prabowo Subianto expressed his appreciation and pride for the initiative of the Indonesian National Police in taking an active role in supporting the national nutrition fulfilment program. The Head of State considers this step as a form of concern and strategic awareness regarding the crucial issue that affects the future of the nation.

"I am truly happy today, I feel joyful, I feel satisfied, because I see one of the most important institutions for our country and nation, namely the Indonesian National Police, has taken the initiative in a field that seems not to be its main task. But the police leadership has grasped a crucial issue for the safety of a nation," Prabowo said.

This momentum reflects the government's seriousness in expanding the reach of nutritional fulfilment services while strengthening the stability of the national food system. Cross-sector collaboration between the government and the police is expected to create sustainable impacts, improve the quality of Indonesia's younger generation, and strengthen the foundation toward the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
