RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Silk Road is no longer merely a civilizational corridor connecting East and West for thousands of years. The historic route has now evolved into a global axis for spreading human values, empathy, and cross-border social inclusion.

This spirit resonated throughout the 6th Silk Road International Festival and the United Nations World Silk Road Forum award ceremony, further strengthening the global 100 CTFP (Celebrities Talk for Para Athletes) campaign.

According to the Founder of the Maria Monique Last Wish Foundation, Natalia, the campaign has received widespread support from international cultural, literary, and media figures, reflecting a shared commitment to equality and the future of para-athletes worldwide.

The movement is led by six Honorary Chairpersons from China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Egypt: Cao Shui, Wang Fangwen, Ulugbek Yesdaulet, Usmon Azim, Altynai Temirova, and Ashraf Aboul-Yazid.

They are committed to expanding cross-border collaboration through a humanitarian movement that supports para-athletes.

Cao Shui plays a central role in driving this transcontinental collaboration through cultural and literary approaches. The Chinese poet received the World Silk Road Culture Outstanding Contribution Award for his contributions.

He also serves as Chairman of the Beijing International Poetry Film Festival, reinforcing his role as a cultural bridge. His dedication to people with disabilities inspired the 100 CTFP campaign, where he invited nearly 100 prominent Asian figures to support para-athletes globally and expand international solidarity.

Wang Fangwen strengthens the initiative in his role as President of the International Poetry Committee of the United Nations World Silk Road Forum. He is also a Distinguished Professor at the Modern College of Northwest University in Xi’an, China.

Combining his academic and literary endeavors, Wang amplifies the humanitarian movement across East Asia, providing an intellectual foundation for a campaign that promotes equality and social inclusion.

Solidarity extends into Central Asia through Kazakhstan’s Ulugbek Yesdaulet, Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan and the Council of the TURKSOY Writers Union.

Support from Africa and the Middle East comes through Egypt’s Ashraf Aboul-Yazid, Secretary-General of the Congress of African Journalists and former President of the Asia Journalists Association.

A recipient of the Manhae Grand Prize and the Arab Journalism Award, Ashraf’s extensive experience enriches cross-continental cultural dialogue to foster a more inclusive global society.
