RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta — Indonesian Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, accompanied by Vice Minister of Creative Economy, visited the Pipilaka Calling exhibition featuring local Intellectual Property (IP). Pipilaka Calling conveys social and environmental messages by utilizing technology and is highly recommended for all visitors, especially children.

“I am truly impressed to visit Pipilaka Calling as an art exhibition of the Pipilaka IP that combines technology with moral messages across generations. I highly recommend Indonesian children to experience this immersive exhibition, which blends entertainment, interactive audiovisual elements, sing-along activities, and engaging stories about environmental awareness in a very enjoyable way,” said Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky at the exhibition venue on the 5th floor of Sarinah, Thamrin, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Pipilaka Calling presents five interactive and educational exhibition spaces, offering a unique experience unlike run-of-the-mill exhibitions. Each visitor is invited to enter the world of Pipilaka, featuring IP characters that serve as storytellers, encouraging audiences to reflect on pertinent social and environmental issues.

“At Sarinah, there is an immersive space where visitors can dance, sing, and take photos together with Pipilaka IP characters. Of course, the five attractions at Pipilaka Calling ensure everyone has fun. Visitors can easily access the venue by public transportation such as the MRT or TransJakarta buses to explore the world of Pipilaka,” Vice Minister of Creative Economy Irene added.

Pipilaka Calling has been running since 15 December 2025 and remains open to the public until 8 March 2026, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. WIB. Through a creative and engaging approach, visitors are encouraged to care more about the environment, enjoy the Pipilaka immersive concert, color Pipilaka characters, listen to stories, and interact directly in the Pipilaka Forest. In addition, visitors can purchase a variety of Pipilaka IP merchandise, including jackets, T-shirts, tote bags, hats, pillows, keychains, and other creative products.

“Pipilaka means ant, which carries the philosophy of mutual cooperation. This IP not only entertains, but also delivers positive messages that visitors can take home, such as caring for the environment. We chose Sarinah as an immersive space because it is a historical building, easily accessible by public transportation, and family-friendly,” Wahyadi Liem, Founder of Pipilaka Foundation explained.

Pipilaka Calling reinforces the philosophy of togetherness as an attitude, spirit, and form of heartfelt collaboration that brings tangible benefits through collaborative IP development. Previously, Pipilaka installations were presented at JNM Bloc Yogyakarta (26 June–28 August 2024) and Road to: Pipilaka Calling at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta (14 December 2024–2 February 2025).

“We want all Indonesians to recognize Pipilaka not only as an entertaining IP, but also as an educational medium through its creativity. We hope the Ministry of Creative Economy can provide us with opportunities to showcase Pipilaka in various regions across Indonesia and connect us with partners who have new technologies, so they can be combined with Pipilaka to become even more engaging and progressive,” Eno Sigit, Co-Founder of Pipilaka Foundation said.

The visit by the Ministry of Creative Economy to Pipilaka Calling follows up on the audience held on 6 March 2025 to support the development of local IPs for global appeal. The Ministry of Creative Economy consistently encourages local IPs to be presented in creative spaces through digital technology engagement concepts that deliver imaginative and inspiring experiences.

Also attending the visit were Director of Visual Arts and Performing Arts of the Ministry of Creative Economy Dadam Mahdar, Treasurer General of Pipilaka Foundation Putri Intan Sari, and Deputy Secretary General of Pipilaka Foundation Astrid Intan Sari.
