KBRN, Jakarta: Indonesian fashion label Buttonscarves has taken its creativity to new heights by staging a fashion show in the sweeping sands of the Dubai dessert, United Arab Emirates, a bold move marking the brand’s first-ever runway in such an extraordinary setting.

Buttonscarves is a fashion brand from Indonesia, known for its exclusive scarf designs and modern modest fashion, founded by Linda Anggrea. The name "Buttonscarves" is a combination of the words "button" and "scarves," originally inspired by the concept of a scarf with buttons as a practical and stylish element.

The desert showcase featured a striking transformation of the vast, undulating landscape into a dramatic runway. The surroundings were adorned in Viva Magenta, the brand’s signature color, creating a visually immersive experience. A giant replica of Buttonscarves’ iconic balloon bag and large-scale visual displays on the dunes added to the spectacle.

According to Creative Director Linda Anggrea, the show was a testament to the brand’s commitment to limitless creativity.

Before this desert show, Buttonscarves had already made its international presence in Dubai. In 2022, the brand held a light projection show on the Ain Dubai Ferris Wheel, highlighting its global ambitions.
