RRI.CO.ID, Bekasi Regency - The Bekasi Regency Administration in West Java has welcomed the presence of the National Electric Motorcycle (Molinas) industry. One of Molinas’s production facilities is located in Bekasi Regency, specifically within the Delta Silicon Industrial Park in South Cikarang.
Acting Regent of Bekasi, Asep Surya Atmaja, expressed hope that the national electric motorcycle industry would create more economic opportunities for the region. He emphasized that this could be achieved particularly through job absorption and the growth of supporting economic activities.
He emphasized that the industry’s presence should not only make Bekasi Regency a production site but also deliver tangible benefits to the surrounding community.
“Hopefully, with the establishment of the Molinas company, more people will be employed, earn incomes, unemployment will be reduced, and regional original revenue will increase,” he said while attending the Molinas launch at Alva’s production facility in the Delta Silicon Industrial Park, South Cikarang, on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
He said that the presence of industries in Bekasi Regency must be accompanied by job opportunities for local residents. In this way, industrial area growth can generate broader economic impacts for the region.
“We hope that job opportunities created by the industry will drive improvements in public welfare, while also strengthening the industrial sector’s contribution to Bekasi Regency’s economy,” he added.
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto officially launched Molinas along with its supporting ecosystem on Thursday, August 13, 2026. The event was attended by Bekasi Acting Regent, Asep Surya Atmaja, and West Java Governor, Dedi Mulyadi. (Annaila Azzahra-EN)
