RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol shattered its attendance expectations during the recent Easter long weekend, drawing over 122,000 visitors to the popular North Jakarta coastal destination. The surge in foot traffic suggests a robust appetite for family recreation as the resort successfully extended its festive momentum from the ongoing Eid al-Fitr season.

As reported by Antara, official data released by the management confirmed that 122,128 people visited the park between April 3 and April 5, 2026, significantly outpacing the company's initial projections.

"The realization of visits at this moment is higher than the set target," said Corporate Communication Manager of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Daniel Windriatmoko, in Jakarta on Monday, April 6, 2026.

He noted that the management had originally aimed for a more modest target of 95,000 visitors for the three-day period. "Thank God, total visits are well above 95,000 people," he added.

Daily attendance remained consistently high throughout the weekend, peaking on Saturday, April 4, with 41,564 visitors. This followed a strong opening on Friday with 39,723 guests, while Sunday maintained the momentum with 40,841 attendees.

The weekend’s success was bolstered by the continuation of special programming from the Eid al-Fitr 1147 Hijri year holiday period. "So, the Eid holiday activities are still ongoing in recreation units such as Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), Sea World, Samudera, and others," explained Daniel.

Visitors were also drawn by a "buy four, get one free" promotional ticket offer, available exclusively through the official website for those booking at least one day in advance.

According to management, the beaches remained the primary draw for the massive crowds, followed closely by major attractions including Dufan, Sea World, and Samudera. The integration of seasonal holiday events with the long weekend has proved a lucrative strategy for the capital's premier recreational hub. ***
