RRI.CO.ID, Banda Aceh - The Pidie Jaya Regency Administration in Aceh Province has disbursed IDR 8.8 billion (USD 519,968) in aid to repair homes damaged by hydrometeorological disasters in the region.

On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, the Regent of Pidie Jaya, Sibral Malasyi, announced that this second phase of housing assistance is being distributed to 296 beneficiary families.

The Regent further emphasized that the Pidie Jaya Regency Administration remains dedicated to a swift and targeted recovery process. He also stressed that all efforts must remain transparent and compliant with all prevailing regulations.

"We hope that the beneficiaries utilize these repair funds effectively. The government will continue to oversee the process and provide guidance until every stage is complete," remarked Sibral Malasyi.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Regent of Pidie Jaya, Hasan Basri, underscored the importance of synergy among all stakeholders in monitoring the post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction process. He expressed hope that the repairs would be completed promptly to allow socio-economic activities to return to normal.

"This assistance is not merely about restoring physical structures. It is about reviving the spirit and hope of the community to rise again after the disaster," said Hasan Basri. ***
