RRI.CO.ID, Batam – Eight 12th-grade students from Islamic High School (MAN) Insan Cendekia Batam in Riau Islands Province have successfully secured admissions to prestigious overseas universities. These institutions are ranked among the world's top-tier campuses for the January–May 2026 period.

These admissions are confirmed by the receipt of Letters of Acceptance (LoA), which is an official document from the universities verifying the students' status as incoming undergraduates.

"Thank God, eight students from the Cambridge International Curriculum class at MAN Insan Cendekia Batam have received Letters of Acceptance (LoA) from world-class universities in the Top 100 rankings," remarked the Principal of MAN Insan Cendekia, Kamal, as quoted by the Religious Affairs Ministry official website, on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

"Among the institutions that have issued LoAs to our students are UNSW College (University of New South Wales), Monash University, and the University of Adelaide," he added on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

The students have been accepted into various disciplines, including Biomedical Sciences, Electrical Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics), Diploma of Engineering, and Computer Science.

Kamal explained that the number of students accepted abroad is expected to rise, as admission cycles vary by university.

"This achievement is projected to increase from February to May 2026. This follows the submission of applications to numerous target campuses, particularly Top 100 global universities, which operate on non-uniform admission schedules," he noted.

Kamal further emphasized that this success is inseparable from the support of the Madrasah Goes Abroad program, initiated by the Directorate of Curriculum, Facilities, Institutional Affairs, and Student Affairs (KSKK) of the Religious Affairs Ministry. Furthermore, this milestone was bolstered by intensive mentoring provided by the madrasah’s internal team.

The academic community of MAN Insan Cendekia Batam remains optimistic that more students will secure spots in even higher-ranked institutions. This confidence is backed by the students' international-standard academic credentials.

"This optimism is reinforced by the official scores achieved by several students, including IELTS scores ranging from 7.5 to 8.0 and SAT scores between 1,500 and 1,560," he concluded. ***
