KBRN, Blitar: Head of the Blitar City Education Agency, East Java Dindin Alinurdin stated that his party is set to undertake two school construction projects, namely the third phase of building construction for state-owned junior high school (SMP) Negeri 6 Blitar and the new Kepanjenlor State Kindergarten in 2025, after previously being delayed due the budget efficiency policy.

"We have received confirmation from the Blitar City Administration budget team that the construction budget is not affected by the budget efficiency policy, allowing us to proceed with the construction this year," he said, Monday, March 17, 2025, as quoted by rri.co.id.

The tender process for these two projects is scheduled to take place in March 2025, which includes the third phase of building construction for SMP Negeri 6 Blitar City along with construction of the new building for the Kepanjenlor State Kindergarten.

"For SMP Negeri 6, it won't take a long time since there is only a small portion left to complete. In contrast, Kepanjenlor State Kindergarten is a new building," said Dindin.

The budget allocation for the third phase of construction for SMP Negeri 6 Kota Blitar is around IDR 2.5 billion, while the budget for the construction of the new building of Kepanjenlor State Kindergarten is around IDR 1.5 billion. ***
