Pangandaran Air Show 2026 Features Aviation Displays and Local MSMEs

RRI.CO.ID, Pangandaran - The Pangandaran Air Show 2026 brings dynamic airborne performances to local coastal skies. The community aviation event was organized in Pangandaran Regency, West Java, from Friday to Sunday, 4-6 September 2026.

Indonesian private airline Susi Air hosted the festival to bring aviation closer to the general public. The event creates a common meeting space for aviation communities, local entrepreneurs, government officials, and tourism stakeholders.

Festivities began on Friday, 4 September 2026, with an MSME Festival hosted at Susi International Beach Strip. Environmental organization Pandu Laut Nusantara also led sand mangrove planting activities during the opening day.

Free public entertainment at Paamprokan Square featured local bands, traditional Ronggeng Gunung art, and popular music group Slank. The main aerial shows were scheduled to take place on Saturday, 5 September 2026.

Starting at 08:45 WIB, professional pilots and air sports athletes from various Indonesian flight clubs performed aerial demonstrations. More than 60 aircraft participated in this year's lineup to highlight aviation excitement.

Visitors enjoyed direct flying experiences through Joy Flight sessions starting at 16:00 WIB over Pangandaran Beach. The afternoon flight offers unique high-altitude views of the surrounding coastal environment for attendees.

A Public Walkaround program started at 17:00 WIB, giving visitors rare access to static aircraft display. The session allowed members of the public to view aircraft closely and take memorable photographs.

Participating aircraft return to their home bases on Sunday, 6 September 2026, to conclude the event. Visitors continue enjoying local Pangandaran culinary products and small business goods at the ongoing MSME Festival.
