Pertamina VR46 Unveils Garuda Livery for Indonesia MotoGP 2026

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will take to the track at the 2026 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia in Mandalika with a striking new Garuda‑themed livery, unveiled as a tribute to Indonesia’s pride and spirit.

“We want to send a message to the world about Indonesia’s passion and pride on the international motorsport stage,” PT Pertamina Lubricants President Director Sigit Pranowo said in Jakarta on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, as quoted by Antara, announcing the special design.

The Tavullia‑based team will race from October 9–11 with the Garuda motif emblazoned across their Ducati Desmosedici GP machines. The design features the mythical bird soaring across the bike, wings stretched along both sides and its head positioned on the fuel tank.

Dominated by Indonesia’s national colors -- white base with a red Garuda -- the livery is accented with golden flames and the team’s signature fluorescent yellow fairing. The concept was created by Aldo Drudi and Drudi Performance.

“The Garuda symbolizes courage and fighting spirit, values that resonate with our team’s character,” Sigit added, noting the design also celebrates Indonesia as the team’s “second home.”

Team Director Alessio Salucci echoed the sentiment, highlighting Indonesia’s special place in VR46’s journey thanks to strong fan support. “We are proud to return to Mandalika with a design that reflects our bond with Indonesia. We hope fans feel proud seeing the Garuda on our bikes,” he said.

Beyond the bikes, the tribute extends to racing suits and Kappa jerseys featuring the same Garuda motif, along with matching caps. These items will be available through Kappa and VR46 Tribe, ensuring fans can share in the celebration both on and off the track. ***
