RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama is set to return to action at the 2026 Moto3 Grand Prix in Motegi this weekend. The Japanese round runs from Friday through the main race on Sunday, October 4.
Veda heads into Motegi after finishing 13th at the Austrian Moto3 on September 20, a result that lifted his tally to 100 points and placed him eighth in the current season standings.
The Japanese Grand Prix marks the 16th round of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship, staged from October 2–4 at Motegi. Following the Japan leg, riders will continue their campaign in Indonesia the following week.
Veda’s schedule begins Friday with the first Free Practice session at 07:00 Jakarta time, followed by a Moto3 practice run at 11:15 Jakarta time. On Saturday, he will take part in FP2 at 06:40 Jakarta time before heading into qualifying later that morning.
The two qualifying sessions will determine grid positions for Sunday’s race, with Q1 at 10:45 Jakarta time and Q2 at 11:10 Jakarta time.
A strong qualifying result will be crucial for Veda as he looks to secure a competitive starting spot and boost his chances of adding more points to his season tally. The main race is set for Sunday at 09:00 Jakarta time, covering 17 laps of the Motegi circuit.
