PSSI, LIB and LMKN Join Forces to Build Football-Music Ecosystem

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s football and creative industries enhance cooperation through an agreement between the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB), and the National Collective Management Institution (LMKN). The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed during the Main Forum of Indonesia Sports Summit (ISS) 2026 in Jakarta, Sunday, September 13, 2026.
The agreement was signed by PSSI Secretary-General, Yunus Nusi and PT LIB President Director, Sadikin Aksa. LMKN Creator Chairman, Andi Mulhanan Tombolotutu and LMKN Related Rights Chairman, Marcellius Siahaan also signed the agreement.
PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Law Nico Afinta witnessed the signing. The collaboration aims to strengthen the music ecosystem within Indonesia’s sports sector, particularly football.
The cooperation brings together the sports and creative industries through collaboration and coordination. The parties seek to develop an ecosystem that grows fairly, harmoniously, and sustainably.
LMKN Related Rights Chairman Marcellius Siahaan said the agreement marks an important collaboration between the institutions. He expressed hope that the partnership would provide lasting benefits for Indonesia’s football and creative industries.
“I am here to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between LMKN, LIB, and PSSI. Thank you, Mr. Erick Thohir, for this opportunity. I hope this will become a beneficial and sustainable collaboration,” Marcellius said.
The signing was also followed by the presentation of a license certificate from LMKN Creator to Ministry of Youth and Sports Secretary Suyadi Pawiro. The step further reflects efforts to strengthen cooperation between Indonesia’s sports and creative sectors.
Through the partnership, football and music are positioned as complementary elements within Indonesia’s broader sports ecosystem. The collaboration is expected to support a more integrated and sustainable relationship between sports organizations and the creative industry.
