Indonesia Secures Four Teams for FFWS SEA 2026 Grand Finals

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Two Indonesian esports teams representatives, RRQ Kazu and MBR Omega, have secured their spots in the Grand Finals of the Free Fire World Series Southeast Asia (FFWS SEA) 2026 Fall.

The teams qualified after finishing fifth and sixth, respectively, in the final standings of the Knockout Stage held from September 4 to 6, 2026.

RRQ Kazu locked in fifth place with 234 total points, consisting of two Booyahs, 123 elimination points, and 111 placement points across the three match days. The team bounced back strongly from a difficult third week, accumulating 79 points on day one, 85 points on day two, and 70 points on day three.

Meanwhile, MBR Omega made history as the first team from the Nusantara Series to reach the FFWS SEA Grand Finals. The Indonesian debutants finished sixth overall with 231 points, earned through two Booyahs, 123 eliminations, and 108 placement points.

After a slow start with 68 points on day one and 59 points on day two, MBR Omega surged on the final day with a 104-point performance and two Booyahs.

In contrast, Esports World Cup Free Fire 2025 champions EVOS Divine suffered an early exit, missing out on the Grand Finals after finishing 12th with 147 points (91 eliminations, 56 placement points, and zero Booyahs). Their early elimination mirrors the post-championship struggle of Team Falcons following their 2024 EWC title.

Indonesia will field four teams in the Grand Finals: Bigetron by Vitality and ONIC-- which qualified earlier-- alongside RRQ Kazu and MBR Omega. They will face off against five Thai teams and three Vietnamese teams, while no Malaysian teams managed to advance.

The FFWS SEA 2026 Fall Grand Finals will take place on September 19–20, 2026, at Tunjungan Plaza Convention Hall in Surabaya, East Java. The tournament will feature a Point Rush format on the first day, followed by the decisive Champion Rush format on the second day. (Diva Rifdah)
