According to a press release issued Sunday, September 6, 2026, the Sport Industry Job Fair and Career Hub is organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Ministry of Manpower. The initiative serves as a platform connecting businesses with job seekers and provides companies with vacancies during the August-September 2026 period an opportunity to recruit new talent.

To expand access for job seekers, the ISS 2026 Job Fair is being held in both virtual and in-person formats. The Virtual Job Fair ran from August 24 to September 4, 2026, through the jobfair.kemnaker.go.id platform.

Meanwhile, walk-in interviews and career counseling will be held from September 11 to 13, 2026, at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta. Job seekers who wish to attend the in-person sessions are required to register through the indonesiasportsummit.com website, with no registration fee.

The vacancies are not limited to jobs directly related to sports or athletes, but also cover various positions based on the needs of participating companies. These include jobs in management, marketing, event organization, technology, fitness, and other supporting services.

The Sport Industry Job Fair and Career Hub highlights the expanding sports industry ecosystem in Indonesia. The sector requires workers with diverse skills to support business activities, sporting events, technology, fitness services, and other areas supporting the sports industry.

With a total demand for 945 workers, the ISS 2026 Job Fair demonstrates that the sports industry is not only about competitions and athletes’ achievements, but also has the potential to become a source of job creation and new economic opportunities. For the public, the event provides an opportunity to explore career prospects amid the continued growth of Indonesia’s sports industry.
