The result crowned Indonesia as the Asian champion and secured a spot in the 2026 FIFAe Finals, Antara reported. The victory came after Elga Cahya Putra and Mohammad Akbar Paudie navigated tough competition from the early rounds.

Indonesia first defeated Malaysia 2-1 to reach the championship match. Japan secured its place in the final after beating Jordan 5-3.

FIFAe noted that Indonesia successfully overcame various challenges throughout the competition before ultimately lifting the trophy. The win over Japan further underscores Indonesia’s consistency in international eFootball Console competition.

The tournament used the FIFAe Draft format, which adds a tactical dimension to squad building. Through this mechanism, each team selected players from a predetermined pool for matches.
