RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s rising badminton star Alwi Farhan is setting his sights beyond medals, viewing the upcoming Asian Games Aichi–Nagoya 2026 as a crucial step toward his long‑term Olympic ambitions.

Speaking at a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday, the 21‑year‑old emphasized his readiness and determination about earning trust as part of Indonesia’s badminton team and to perform at his best.

“My confidence is stronger now. I’ve prepared thoroughly to give everything I have. Whatever the outcome, I don’t want regrets,” Alwi said, as quoted by Antara.

Alwi hopes to replicate the success of his SEA Games 2025 debut, where he clinched gold in men’s singles and helped Indonesia secure the team title in Thailand. He stressed that every match is an opportunity to serve the nation.

“I don’t think about when my peak performance will come. Each time I play, I represent Indonesia,” he added.
