RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia’s rising talent Raphael Anggoman has opened new horizons for the nation’s electric karting development after clinching victory in the Senior Group D Final of the SWS International E-Finals 2026 in Italy.

Founder of Kart.inc, Michael Jorgy, hailed the achievement as proof that Indonesian drivers can compete at the international level.

“Raphael’s win in the Senior Group D Final is a source of pride for us and shows that Indonesian racers have the ability to perform globally,” Michael said in Jakarta on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

Raphael competed at the SWS International E-Finals held at Rush Speed Arena, Alcamo, Sicily, from June 11–13, facing strong rivals from across the world but maintaining a competitive edge throughout.

His opportunity to race in Italy came after impressing in Kart.inc Pro League Season 1, where he earned Rookie of the Season honors and finished runner-up. Indonesia was also represented by Gerrard Carlton, champion of the Junior Championship in the league’s inaugural season.

Michael emphasized that the experiences of Raphael and Gerrard abroad should inspire other young talents to view electric karting as a gateway to more competitive motorsport.

“We hope this positive result marks the beginning of greater achievements,” he added.

Raphael’s success not only highlights his personal progress but also strengthens Indonesia’s ambitions to nurture future talent in the emerging discipline of electric karting. ***
