RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian rider Muhammad Kiandra Ramadhipa strengthened his credentials as one of Asia’s most promising motorcycle racing talents by claiming his maiden FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship victory at Portugal’s Estoril Circuit on Sunday, June 14, 2026, marking another milestone in his rapidly growing career.

Starting from seventh on the grid, the Honda Asia-Dream Racing Junior Team rider made an impressive launch and immediately joined the leading group in the 16-lap race, Antara reported.

The early stages were led by Carlos Cano, followed by Leonardo Zanni, Kiattisak Singhapong, and Ramadhipa, while intense battles for the lead saw several riders exchanging positions throughout the race.

Ramadhipa briefly dropped to sixth place on lap four and slipped to fifth two laps later amid the fierce competition. However, the Yogyakarta-born rider maintained a consistent pace and gradually worked his way back into contention.

A key turning point came on lap seven when the 16-year-old moved to the front of the leading pack. He continued to challenge for victory despite pressure from Travis Borg, Kiattisak Singhapong, and Carlos Cano.

The fight for the lead intensified in the closing laps, with multiple changes at the front. Ramadhipa briefly lost the lead to Cano before Borg took over, but the Indonesian rider remained within striking distance of the leaders.

The decisive moment came on the final lap. Showing composure and precise racecraft in the last sector, Ramadhipa overtook two rivals just before the finish line to secure his first victory in the Moto3 Junior World Championship.

The triumph marks a significant achievement in his JuniorGP career. After previously becoming the first Indonesian rider to reach the podium in the Moto3 Junior World Championship, Ramadhipa has now gone one step further by claiming his maiden win in the series.

The result also boosts his championship campaign. With 51 points, Ramadhipa now sits second in the overall standings, closing the gap to leader Giulio Pugliese, who has 58 points.
