RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Excitement is building among Indonesian football fans as around 35,000 tickets have already been released for the national team’s upcoming FIFA Matchday fixtures against Oman and Mozambique in June.

Both matches will take place at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 p.m. local time. Ticket sales opened last Friday, and according to PT Garuda Sepak Bola Indonesia (GSI), demand has been steady.

“Only the lower stands are open, while the upper stands remain closed. In total, about 35,000 tickets are available for the matches on June 5 (against Oman) and June 9 (against Mozambique),” GSI Managing Director Marsal Masita told a press event in South Jakarta on Thursday, May 28, 2026, as quoted by ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠Antara.

Fans can choose from three ticket categories:

• Garuda South/North - IDR 300,000
• Garuda West/East - IDR 500,000
• Premium West/East - IDR 750,000

Marsal noted that thousands of tickets have already been sold and expressed confidence that all seats will be filled by matchday. The optimism is fueled not only by fan enthusiasm but also by the quality of Indonesia’s opponents. Oman is ranked 79th in the FIFA standings and Mozambique is ranked 101st; both sit above Indonesia, currently at 122nd.

Preparations are underway on and off the pitch. Head coach John Herdman has announced a provisional squad of 44 players, including 29 from domestic leagues and 15 based overseas. The matches are expected to provide valuable experience for the Garuda squad as they continue to build toward future international competitions. ***
