RRI.CO.ID, Kuala Lumpur - Indonesia’s Byon Combat Showbiz is stepping onto the international stage with its first overseas event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, scheduled for Saturday, April 25.

The Byon Combat Showbiz 7 will take place at the World Trade Center Kuala Lumpur, featuring 12 bouts that pit fighters from Indonesia and Malaysia against each other in what is expected to be a fiery night of combat sports.

Byon Combat President Yoshua Marcellos Muliardo (Cellos) expressed excitement at bringing the event abroad, despite minor administrative challenges. He noted that all 3,000 tickets for the show have sold out, underscoring strong regional interest.

“There will be five placement matches to determine the top ranking, making the transition from Byon 6 to Byon 7 more dynamic,” Cellos said in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, April 24, as quoted by Antara.

The headline fight will see Malaysia’s Putra Abdullah face Indonesia’s Ronal Siahaan, while the UCC Boxing card features Nidal Mahmoud defending his ICB International title against Adam Maulana.

Another bout drawing attention is between Salmri Pattusamallo (KKSAM) of East Nusa Tenggara and Malaysia’s Awangku Abdul Rahman (Aman Koboi). Their weigh-in and press conference already sparked drama, with heated exchanges escalating to physical contact.

Aman Koboi taunted KKSAM, saying he would never lose to an “old man,” while KKSAM vowed to silence his opponent in the ring.

The women’s division will also shine, with Indonesia’s Winona Karamoy taking on Malaysia’s Emmabell Cassandra.

Fans in Kuala Lumpur can watch live at the venue, while audiences in Indonesia, Malaysia, and worldwide can access the fights via Vidio’s Pay-Per-View (PPV) service, priced at IDR 59,000 in Indonesia, 17 Ringgit in Malaysia, and 6 USD 6 internationally. ***
