RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Professional Indonesian motorcycle racer Gerry Salim earned praise for his determined performance after securing second place in the AP250 class of the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) 2026 at Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, on Saturday, April 11.

His achievement drew recognition from Gilang Widya Pramana, owner of MS Glow For Men Racing Honda, who reaffirmed his commitment to fully support the East Java-born rider.

Gilang, also the founder of J99 Corp and MS Glow For Men, emphasized that the team aims to prove Indonesia can compete at the Asian level.

“We want to give our all and show that Indonesian teams are capable of racing competitively in Asia,” Gilang said in an official statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

He explained that the team’s backing covers every racing need - from the motorcycle, rider, mechanics, and data engineers to logistics such as shipping, disposable tires, and accident preparedness.

The race was ultimately won by Krittapat Keankum of Yamaha Thailand Racing Team, while Daniel Syahmi of Uma Racing Yamaha Maju Motor Asia Team secured third place.
