RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian women's doubles pair Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum are growing in confidence as they compete in the Thailand Masters 2026. The sixth-seeded duo successfully eliminated the host nation's pair Hathaithip Mijad/Napapakorn Tungkasatan, in a hard-fought match with a final score of 21-16, 18-21, 21-11.

Febi expressed her gratitude for advancing to the quarter-finals despite facing challenges due to the court conditions.

"During the second game, our feeling and touching were not fast enough. Because we had the wind in our favor, the opponent's shots tended to stop mid-air, making our timing slightly inaccurate," she explained.

Rachel echoed her partner's sentiments regarding the importance of adapting to the court's environment. She noted that they immediately tried to capitalize on their position whenever the court conditions were favorable.

"It depends on the court position; if we are playing against the wind, we try to keep filling our shots. If we have the wind in our favor, we try to apply more pressure and increase the tempo of the game," Rachel added.
