Quoting Antara, host nation Thailand emerged as the overall champion, dominating the table with 175 gold, 155 silver, and 158 bronze medals, a combined haul of 488. Malaysia followed in third place with 64 gold, 64 silver, and 73 bronze medals, totaling 201.

The Philippines ranked fourth with 45 gold, 37 silver, and 52 bronze medals, while Vietnam rounded out the top five with 38 gold, 48 silver, and 58 bronze medals.

Further down the standings, Myanmar claimed sixth place with 20 gold, 17 silver, and 20 bronze medals. Singapore finished seventh (13 gold, 7 silver, 9 bronze), Timor-Leste eighth (3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze), Laos ninth (2 gold, 5 silver, 9 bronze), and Brunei Darussalam in tenth place with 1 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze.
