On Voice of Indonesia’s music program The Session on Monday, September 14, 2026, Peter explained that “Tak Akan Lagi” tells the story of someone leaving a backburner relationship. He described backburner relationships as situations where someone becomes an alternative, rather than someone being chosen and valued.

"Many people are now being treated as someone’s second choice. So, this song is for you guys,” Peter said. Through this song, he encourages listeners to recognize their worth and stop remaining in relationships that cause pain.

Unlike heartbreak songs, Peter presents this story with a happier sound, celebrating the decision to leave relationships behind. He said the song is for listeners who have escaped backburner situations and are no longer victims of them.

Peter began his entertainment journey around 2020, sharing content on TikTok during the pandemic and receiving positive responses. After several challenges and a failed talent-search attempt, he decided to try another opportunity through X Factor Indonesia.

Peter eventually won X Factor Indonesia Season Four in 2024, beginning his music journey with greater public recognition. He said continuing his career requires patience and self-belief, reminding himself to trust the process despite its difficulties.
