RRI.CO.ID, Manado - The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) and the Singaporea Air Force (RSAF) reaffirmed their long‑standing military partnership during the 20th Annual Staff Meeting (ASM) held in Manado, North Sulawesi, on Friday, September 4, 2026.
The forum underscored the importance of dialogue and structured cooperation in building trust and operational synergy between the two nations.
Representing TNI AU was Deputy Chief of Staff Air Marshal Tedi Rizalihadi, while RSAF was led by Brig. Gen. Ho Kum Luen, Chief of Staff - Air Staff. Both sides highlighted the breadth of collaboration already underway, ranging from personnel exchanges for military education to joint combat training.
"These forms of cooperation are vital in strengthening trust, mutual understanding, and professionalism between the two air forces," Tedi stated in an official press release issued on Saturday, September 5, 2026, as quoted by Antara.
He expressed hope that the partnership would continue to expand, reinforcing the military capabilities of both countries.
Ho Kum Luen praised the hospitality of TNI AU and emphasized the ASM’s role as a cornerstone of bilateral engagement.
“The Annual Staff Meeting has become one of the key pillars for communication, decision‑making, and the implementation of all bilateral activities between RSAF and TNI AU,” he said.
He added that the forum provides the right platform to address issues, make decisions, and support joint initiatives.
Both delegations agreed that the ASM should remain a yearly fixture to sustain momentum in cooperation.
