Palestine Strengthens Humanitarian Ties with Indonesia Through NTT Aid

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Humanitarian assistance from Palestine to earthquake-affected communities in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is reinforcing the long-standing solidarity and humanitarian cooperation between Palestine and Indonesia.

Palestinian Ambassador to Indonesia Abdalfatah A.K. Alsattari said in Jakarta on Friday, August 28, 2026, that helping communities facing disasters is a shared responsibility that transcends national borders.

“Our solidarity is rooted in the shared humanitarian values we hold. Palestine stands with the people of East Nusa Tenggara and all Indonesians,” he said on Friday, August 28, as quoted by Antara.

He said the assistance reflects the Palestinian people's sincere solidarity with Indonesians, particularly residents of NTT who are dealing with the impact of the earthquake.

He added that humanitarian solidarity should not be limited by national borders or differences, emphasizing the importance of mutual support during times of crisis.

The assistance is expected to help meet the needs of earthquake-affected communities while delivering a message of care and friendship from the Palestinian people to the people of NTT.

The Palestinian Embassy also expressed appreciation to all parties that contributed to the humanitarian effort and to Indonesians for their continued friendship, solidarity and support for the Palestinian people.

Through the initiative, Palestine reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening friendship and humanitarian cooperation with Indonesia.
