The Jakarta-based school students, lined up neatly, waved small Indonesian and Thai flags as Anutin's motorcade passed. They also greeted him in Thai language, ยินดีต้อนรับสู่อินโดนีเซีย ("Yindī t̂xnrạb s̄ū̀ xindonīseīy"), meaning "Welcome to Indonesia".

One of the students had the opportunity to interact directly with Anutin. A student at Guntur 03 Morning Elementary School, Zean, said that he didn't expect such an experience.

"I was waving the flag. When the man passed by, I immediately put the flag together, I did this. And the man immediately hugged me," Zean said.

"The first time I was nervous, but when I hugged her, I wasn't. I was so happy," he said, indicating the joyful moment.

For teachers, student involvement in these state activities not only provides new experiences but also serves as a valuable learning tool. A teacher at Guntur 03 Morning Elementary School, Rina Permatasari, believes these activities can inspire and motivate students to achieve their dreams.

"By seeing the outside world, it seems they'll be inspired. Perhaps seeing the Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres), ministers, and others can motivate them to study harder," he conveyed.

A teacher at Kebon Manggis 08 Morning Elementary School, Nur Anggraini, stated the roughly same opinion. She said that the students' involvement in welcoming leaders of friendly countries was a means of instilling nationalism from an early age.

"So they can show their love for Indonesia and demonstrate cooperation between countries," he said.

In a joint press statement, Anutin expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome during his first visit to Jakarta. Anutin's visit was the first by the Thai PM since Yingluck Shinawatra visited Indonesia in 2011.

"On behalf of the Thai government, I would like to express my gratitude to President Prabowo and the Indonesian government for their warm welcome," he said.
