Indonesia Dispatches 10 Container Trucks of Food Aid to Gaza

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - A convoy of 10 container trucks carrying food aid from the people of Indonesia have been officially dispatched to Gaza by the Indonesian National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS RI) and Indonesian Ambassador to Egypt, Kuncoro Giri Waseso.
“Alhamdulillah, today BAZNAS RI is able to deliver food packages for our brothers and sisters in Gaza, witnessed directly by Ambassador Kuncoro. We hope this assistance will truly be beneficial,” BAZNAS Chairman Noor Achmad said in a statement from Jakarta on Friday, February 13, 2026, as quoted by Antara.
The convoy consists of around 15,000 food packages, carefully packed and sealed before distribution. Noor emphasized that the humanitarian aid was funded through zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) contributions from Indonesians, making the delivery a mandate to support those in need in Gaza.
He also expressed gratitude to the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo for its logistical support. “BAZNAS is greatly assisted by the Embassy’s efforts to ensure that humanitarian aid from the Indonesian people reaches Palestinians effectively,” Noor added.
Ambassador Kuncoro Giri Waseso likewise thanked BAZNAS for organizing the initiative. “We deeply appreciate BAZNAS RI for coordinating this humanitarian aid from Indonesia, as well as our partner Mishr Al Kheir. May our cooperation continue and grow stronger,” he said. ***
