Indonesian Government Holds Industrial Festival 2026

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The Ministry of Industry is once again hosting the Industrial Festival 2026 as a platform for education, collaboration, and industrial exploration, packaged creatively and relevantly for the younger generation. Carrying the grand theme "Start Your Journey," this event is expected to spur the active involvement of youth as future industrial players, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

Minister of Industr, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, stated that the Industrial Festival is not just an ordinary festival event. The festival is part of the Ministry's commitment to building youth optimism regarding the future of a national industry that is increasingly adaptive, modern, and globally competitive.

"The Industrial Festival is not merely an event, but a space for self-actualization for the younger generation to witness firsthand the various opportunities and transformations currently taking place in the industrial sector. We want Indonesia's youth to dare to start their journey in the national industrial sector, which is now increasingly innovative, green, and technology-based," Agus said in his statement in Jakarta recently.

Industrial Festival 2026 will feature a series of activities, including inspiring talk shows, community engagement, coaching clinics, on-location public services, career and networking corners, and a content creation competition. This year, the Industrial Festival will also collaborate with two major national agendas: Halal Indo 2026, taking place from September 24–27, 2026, at ICE BSD, Tangerang, and the commemoration of National Batik Day 2026 in Surabaya.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Eko S.A. Cahyanto, stated that the Industrial Festival serves as a strategic medium. The festival is believed to strengthen the Ministry's public communication while closely introducing the national industrial ecosystem to the public, especially the younger generation.

The theme "Start Your Journey" focuses on three main pillars: resilience, artificial intelligence, and the sustainable era. These three pillars reflect that the future of industry requires a younger generation that is resilient, adaptable to technology, and concerned with environmental sustainability.

As part of the Industrial Festival x Halal Indo 2026 series, the Ministry will also highlight various strategic issues related to national halal industry development, the strengthening of technology-based halal businesses, and the development of sustainable, Sharia ESG-based industries. Meanwhile, in collaboration with National Batik Day 2026, the Industrial Festival will support the strengthening of the batik ecosystem as part of a competitive national creative industry that resonates with the youth.
