RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The Indonesian government remains committed to strengthening governance, institutions, and infrastructure connectivity to accelerate the development of the Rebana Area. It is as one of the integrated economic growth centers in West Java.

This strategic milestone is marked by the completion of the Project for Rebana Area Development which is related to Patimban International Port cooperation between the Indonesian Government and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) through the Final Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) Meeting in Jakarta on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

Acting Deputy for Coordinating Industry, Manpower, and Tourism at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Dida Gardera, stated that the Rebana Area holds massive potential to become a growth pole and an economic acceleration catalyst ranging from the provincial to national levels. "The success of this area's development depends not only on good planning, but also requires support from optimal cross-institutional coordination, Regional Government commitment, and policy consistency during implementation," he said.
